6 Quick, Easy, and Healthy Snacks!

Thanks to everyone who joined Doc Indie Jones and I on our Live Talk Tuesday Show! We dished up some healthy snacks to give you a boost of Antioxidants and help reduce daily stress! These snacks can all be made in less than 5 minutes of prep time and the kids will also love them! So let's get to snacking!


KZ Cleanse Smoothie:

Ingredients:

*1/2 Cup of unsweetened Almond, Cashew, or Coconut Milk

*1 cup of Coconut Water (preferably Organic and Non-GMO)

*1/2 an Avocado

*1 cup Blueberries

*1 generous handful of Spinach

*1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

*2-3 squirts of Organic Stevia or Monk Fruit Sweetener

*Cup to 1 cup of ice

Instructions: Blend all ingredients in a Nutibullet or Blender and Enjoy!


Sweet Potato Rounds:

Ingredients:

*12 ounces sweet potatoes (washed and dried)

*2 teaspoons Avocado Oil or melted Coconut Oil

*1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

*2 teaspoons Raw Honey

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F. Slice the sweet potatoes into ½-inch rounds. Place rounds on a roasting pan or rimmed cookie sheet on parchment paper. Brush each sweet potato slice with oil and sprinkle with cinnamon. Flip slices over and repeat. Roast sweet potato slices for 10 minutes. Remove the pan and carefully flip the rounds with a fork or spatula. Return to the oven and cook for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until golden and caramelized. Serve rounds plain or with your favorite toppings. Doc Indie and I topped with Organic Coconut Yogurt and Pomegranate seeds, Yummmm!
